Meet Alyssa Steve
Alyssa is a 16-year-old American Indian adolescent who loves her family, the time she spends on the reservation, and playing basketball.
She has also recently experienced a traumatic event.
The Alyssa Steve case library, developed by Dr. Nancy M. Lucero in collaboration with the NCTWI, is the CCCT’s first collection of resources developed to specifically explore the cultural, contextual, and group factors that shape the experience of trauma and the healing process for American Indian families.
